Our stay at Destiny East/Simply blessed was relaxing, amazing, and memory making, vacation. There was ample space for our party of 10. Everyone enjoyed the private pool and golf cart which made it so much easier getting to the beach! Anytime we had questions the property manager was quick to respond. Destiny East is where we will be scheduling our vacation for 2020!!

We booked early in the year, and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. There were more beach items than expected, and plenty of room. Conveniently located to beach, stores and restaurants; and the clubhouse, pool and playground were nice and clean.

This house was absolutely perfect for a girls' weekend getaway. It was close to the beach, pool and other activities. The house was spacious and had the perfect layout to accomodate 10 women getting ready and sitting around with a glass of wine.

"The house was amazing! The kids loved the pool and didn't want to get out after we got back from the beach! The golf cart was a big help when going down to the beach and going out to eat. There were 2 sets of bunk beds for the kids. Our kids were still a little small to be on the top bunk so we moved the top mattress down to the floor for them. The house was very clean and there was plenty of room for the 9 of us. The only slightly negative things were the FROGS! They talked to each other non-stop during the night and took a few days to get used to. Bring some oil to help cook things in the pans. Everything we cooked stuck to the pans (even bacon!). The griddle was very helpful and used that to make eggs, bacon, and pancakes. There is an extra fridge and freezer in the garage. The kids liked the movie theater in the clubhouse. Plenty of movies to choose from or you can bring your own DVD. We had a fantastic time and loved going to the beach! We were down at the beach by 11 each day and there was plenty of parking. We stayed towards the left of the Crab Trap and seemed less busy than the other side near the bathrooms."

"House was beautiful. Two minor problems at check in with regards to maintenance and they were there to fix it the same day. Destin Palms was very responsive to texts. Very good at keeping me informed at all stages of my reservation, stay, etc. Highly recommend.

The property itself (Silver Blessings) is located inside a beautiful maintained housing development. It is near to all major activities and a public beach access. "

"We enjoyed staying at Silver Blessing. The rental was clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Destin Palms Vacation was very professional and always available for any questions. The pool and hot tub were awesome. It’s very big as well. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Silver Blessing is a fabulous home!! Our family of 11 people loved the space, pool and easy beach access. Our grandchildren were so happy in this house.
The only negatives were: The pool had no maintenance until our last here.
Second negative are the kitchen knives. They were useless so my son in law I had to buy knives so we could prepare meals. This annoyed me because I called Destin Palms and got no response on the knife issue."

"Move in day was very good as the house was clean and good smelling. The lay out of the house was perfect for family gatherings with the open concept of kitchen, dining and living room. The pool was clean and welcome after a hot day at the beach. Everyone had their own bedrooms and the children loved having bunk beds. The master bedroom had the most comfortable mattress and was private away from the other 4 bedrooms. We loved the location in the gated community and having a golf cart was super fun to get us to and from the beach. Thanks to the information given before check-in, we knew just what to bring. I would add kleenx tissue to the list. Also, we could have used a dust pan and windex spray to help keep the place more tidy during our stay. It was good to have a hose next to the house so we could clean the sand off our feet after our beach visit. The kitchen was well equipped. The only thing missing was a ladle, splatter screen and hot mitts. We brought paper plates and plastic cups which helped with clean-up. Also, bring your own napkins and extra kitchen bags for garbage. We appreciated that everything was in good working order so we did not have to stress or call the manager for maintenance. We would recommend this property to relatives or friends. It was indeed a "Silver Blessing.""

"Beautiful home close to everything (beach, gym, shopping, movies). Home is stocked with everything you'd need to cook and serve dinner. The pool and whirlpool are a beautiful addition and can be warmed at an additional cost. Check out was earlier than I would have expected 10am, but overall stay was wonderful."

"We came to Destin for the weekend and we had a great time. This house had everything we needed to cook. To our surprise it had a pool in the backyard. Very short distance to the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. Very happy we found this house."

"House was pretty nice once we got it cleaned up after our arrival. Bathrooms were pretty dirty. A few nights in we had the air shut down on us, luckily for our group I'm a contractor and knew to check the filters before calling maintenance, they were completely filled upstairs and down. Its amazing they hadn't burned the units up. The rest of the house was in fair shape. Minus the kitchen being a bit under stocked as far as cookware, suited our group of 12 nicely. Neighborhood was awesome, really liked the tennis courts and shared areas. Pool looked great but felt more like a hot tub. The golf cart was an especially nice bonus making trips to the beach less of a messy chore. We will be looking to stay in the neighborhood again maybe a different house though. "

"This house was absolutely amazing!!!! The house was recommended to us by a friend who works for the rental company, and it was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for our 4 individual families, as well as enough space for friends to come over. The neighborhood is beautiful, the amenities were fabulous, and the people are friendly. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had everything available to us that we needed. There were a couple of issues we had with the front door, the internet & modem, but we reported those issues and got quick responses. We would definitely stay here again!!!"

"Spacious home with good floor plan, convenient location, community well manicured with nice pool, playground, tennis courts. Destin Palms property management personnel very friendly and helpful. Fantastic weather. Golf cart died but the property management team did an excellent job getting it repaired and returned in about 24 hours. We left behind a couple of items and were notified within 2 hours with a gracious offer to mail them to us. There is a closet and garage with lots of fun toys for kids to enjoy. A few things I would recommend to the owner to make sure their investment is maintained:the cleaning service needs to be reprimanded and monitored. We were traveling with a crawling baby and 2 toddlers. Within 5 minutes of entering the home, they were VERY dirty from crawling around on the floors (their knees, hands and tops of feet were BLACK with dirt)either had not been mopped or a very poor job. The showers had small to moderate amount of mold in the corners and we know the cleaning service had only left about 4 hours before we arrived. Filters in central air returns were filthy and clogged (very hard on your AC unit). Linens and paint a bit worn and mattresses on sleeper sofas very uncomfortable. The property was advertised as accomodating 15 so there should be more towels/washcloths. There is a very nice gazebo on the rear deck but there were also 2 snakes and a nest of wasps or hornets that enjoyed the deck. We had 2 people stung so abandoned the rear deck for the front porch the remainder of the week but it was nice so not a big deal. We did not complain to the property management about any of these as we just wanted to enjoy our vacation and not have to deal with these relatively minor issues. Just wanted the owners/managers to know that, if these issues are dealt with, this one gets another star and your investment is more secure.
